Just as a beautiful tree grows slowly, in meditation we must also wait for the blossom, the ripening of the fruit and ultimate taste. So also with the blossom of meditation, an inexpressible peace permeates the entire being. Wherever in the world you may wander, the mind is never truly satisfied except when it withdraws from the mundane world, to the inner world of silence, peace and divine love.
‘‘You cannot imagine the peace of eternal bliss. If you reach it for just two minutes after one hour of meditation, its power still cannot be described. A mysterious inner voice will guide you during this Silence. You must hear this inner voice; at this time it is very clear. The Guru is within you at this time. You don’t have to go to any more gurus, because your Guru is within you, and will give you the right guidance, the right track to reach the goal. Reason cannot help you here. Reading is finished, learning is finished, questions are finished. You are left alone here. No teacher can help you at this time. The conscious aspect of life is over. Intuition, direct experience, is the only truth here.’’ Vishnudevananda Upadesha |
