|
A Summer Yoga Retreat to connect and immerse in heartcentred offerings, infusing the compassionate and loving essence of Bhakti Yoga into our practice. The retreat will be livestreamed using Zoom video conferencing, all you need is your laptop/phone and internet connection so you can join us wherever you are in the world! If you can't make any of the sessions you can request the recorded zoom replay. We will send you suggestions on creating your retreat space and getting the most from your home retreat experience.
The retreat begins on Friday evening and finishes on Saturday at 6pm. If you would like to continue the retreat into Sunday morning, you can also opt for the Sunday morning 1 hour practice at 10am for an additional £5.
Bhakti Yoga is often refered to as the yoga of love and devotion. By learning to expand our devotional awareness, we can overcome negative emotions and transform our lives so they are filled with peace, love, joy, and harmony. According to the Narada Bhakti Sutras, bhakti is a deep yearning to experience love in its purest and highest form, to unite with that which is eternal and unchanging.
During the retreat we will explore the essence and simple beauty of Bhakti Yoga and how we can bring this to life in our practice. Bhakti naturally cultivates a loving and compassionate heart.
