ONLINE BEGINNERS
​YOGA 

Beginners/Refreshers Yoga  - ONLINE
A course of 6 classes in each term will be livestreamed with zoom.  Any missed classes can be taken with the replay which is valid for 3 days.
Suitable for beginners, anyone wanting to refresh/get back into their practice slowly, or gain a deeper understanding of the basic fundamentals of practice.  Everyone welcome.

The course is a new and revised Beginners Course, so if you have already completed a Beginners Course with Yoga Prema, you will learn a completely new set of practices.  
Lila has been supporting Beginners and people of all levels in their practice for the past 19 years.

Our beginners course is a
 systematic introduction to the theory and practice of yoga postures, breathing exercises and guided relaxation.  The focus is on fundamentals, building a strong foundation through detailed verbal direction and adjustments.  You will learn a practice sequence and the benefits of each posture.  Each week new practices are introduced and we recap on previous weeks.  The practice is a little slower so whether you are a complete beginner or would like to get back in to your practice, you are welcome.
Course Time:     
6.00 - 7.00pm, Mondays
Course Dates:    
11 Jan - 15 Feb, 2021 Replay recordings will be valid for 3 days after each session, so no worries if you can't make a class.
Cost:
6 weeks - Price is per household -  £48 / 1 class £10
It is possible to still join the course after the start date and pay for the remainder of the block at a reduced rate or drop in for 1 class

Benefits of yoga

The practice of asanas (postures), pranayama (breath work), relaxation, meditation & mindfulness practices have a direct effect on our physical, mental and emotional health and well-being. It is a complete and beautiful discipline.  Regular practice brings increased physical strength, vitality and improves overall health, strengthens the immune system, therefore preventing disease. 

​Yoga promotes flexibility, strength, balance, pose and resilience. Mentally it encourages positivity and mental clarity, it fosters mindfulness and stillness which enhance decision making.  Yoga help to declutter the mind, keep stress at bay, improve concentration and a balanced mind.

There are many yoga practices to foster physical and mental resilience, feel fantastic, be mentally and physically fit and experience positive change in our lives and make a beneficial impact on others.  Essentially yoga brings a sense of peace, calm, happiness and wellbeing.

  • Please click the book now button to complete your course registration
  • You will need a yoga mat and we will send you some guidelines of how to prepare for your classes using zoom
  • Wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in
  • Yoga is practiced bare foot
  • It is advisable not to eat a heavy meal 2 hours before class.  Light/easily digestible food is best but avoid anything too heavy
  • Please advise the teacher of any medical conditions or if you are pregnant
  • Yoga is for everyone, whatever size, shape, age, sex you are.  You don't need to be flexible... that comes with practice!​​

  • Drop in is possible £10 per class
