Is Meditation for me?
Happiness is our birthright... in a fast paced and often chaotic world the mind is constantly busy. This creates stress, exhaustion and an inability to focus, concentrate and relax. When we have an understanding of the nature of the mind, we can handle situations in life in a better way. Meditation is a state of being, where we withdraw from the outer experience, to the inner world. The wisdom of yoga and meditation teaches us how to live in a fast paced world but in a calm, steady and focused way, keeping the mind healthy, emotions balanced and the inner joy alight.
Meditation reveals our deepest potential and naturally cultivates a loving and compassionate heart.
The course is based upon the teachings of Raja Yoga, the path of the mind and includes sanskrit mantras for meditation.

Sadhana, our practice of yoga and meditation is like a seed... it needs watering and in time it will slowly grow into a tree, it will blossom and give fruit and flowers in abundance... Life's often difficult lesson's bring us to question what's it all about? This is a great place to begin to dive deeper into yoga's ancient wisdom. The key to happiness lies within our inner world... at the core of everything there is a consciousness... when we connect to what is naturally within our very being so much unfolds... the wisdom of life naturally reveals itself if we just show up and look within. I was first inititated into the practice of mantra meditation in India in 2001 and have continued a regular and steady practice of Meditation for more than 20 years. Experience is the greatest teacher and although I will always be a student myself, I have been guiding yoga teachers and practitioners in their practice and understanding of meditation for more than 15 years. Join me on this journey as we dive into meditation and the wisdom of the classical yoga texts of India |
