Please find below, the terms and conditions for Yoga Prema
Our cancellation policy
Cancellation by you.
In the event of cancellation by you, the deposit can be transferred to another person (attending in your place), by arrangement with Yoga Prema. If Yoga Prema is running another Yoga Prema retreat within 12 months of the retreat you are cancelling, you may be able to transfer to that retreat, depending on availability, the time factor and the pricing may need to be adjusted according to the new retreat cost. Yoga Prema is entitled to cover any expenses incurred as a result of your cancellation and therefore, Yoga Prema is entitled to keep a reasonable amount, being approximately, 50 percent of the total cost.
The deposit (depending on the retreat, this is up to 50% of the total retreat cost) is non-refundable. If you cancel 90 days before arrival (start date of the retreat) and have paid in full, we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 90 days before arrival, we will charge 100% of total cost. This does not affect your legal right to transfer your booking to another person in certain circumstances.
Cancellation by Yoga Prema
In the unlikely event that Yoga Prema has to cancel your retreat for no fault of your own, we will notify you as quickly as possible and we will refund you for any retreat payments you have already made. In the event the cancellation is for unusual and unforseeable circumstances out of Yoga Prema's control e.g. lockdown, it is requested that you ensure you have complete travel insurance that will compensate you for loss of flight cost, travel cost, travel visa or any other costs. Yoga Prema will refund only the retreat costs but not other incidental costs so please take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking your retreat.
Your Responsibilities
For all retreats, please ensure that you book your travel insurance at the time of booking your retreat and paying your deposit. It is your responsibility to check that your insurance is comprehensive and covers all of your needs or possible accidental needs e.g. medical cover, belongings, covid changes, covering any activities you are doing etc. Your cover should include early trip cancellation for covid reasons, if you test positive.
You are responsible for your travel plans, for ensuring you are at the right place at the right time e.g. check in at airport and have the necessary paperwork for travel, if overseas e.g. correct visa (if applicable), flight tickets, passport validity and enough pages in your passport etc. These are all your own responsibility in getting to and from our retreats and checking the correct country requirements for your arrival and departure. We are always happy to help/assist and advise where we can.
Exclusions of liability
• Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control.
• Participants' medical or psychiatric/emotional conditions which may become apparent through practicing yoga daily on a Yoga Prema retreat.
• Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
Photo / Video Release – Use of Image
You hereby grant to Yoga Prema has the absolute and irrevocable right, and unrestricted permissions to use photographic portraits/images/videos in which you feature that are taken during the retreat to use/republish/copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with Yoga Prema. You hereby release and discharge Yoga Prema from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.
Complaints
We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your retreat. If you feel that a complaint is warranted you must raise the issue directly with Yoga Prema. Any retrospective complaint must be made in writing to Yoga Prema within 14 days of the end of your retreat.
By booking any retreat with us you agree to be bound by and adhere to all policies and rules.
