Hatha Yoga drop-in classes
Classes are usually 90 minutes and follow the classical teachings of Hatha Yoga, most practices are taught according to the Sivananda tradition. Practice includes pranayama (breathing exercises), warm-up exercises and a flowing asana (posture) sequence followed by guided relaxation. Inverted, sitting and standing postures are practiced; the teacher will suggest more challenging variations for more advanced students. Open classes encompass all levels and include a taste of Sanskrit chanting and philosophy
