Website & Service Terms

Effective 21 June 2026 | Yoga Prema

These terms apply to use of yogaprema.org and to Yoga Prema's Practice Library, mentorship, courses, immersions, workshops, training and other non-retreat services. Please read them before booking or purchasing.

1. About Yoga Prema

Yoga Prema is operated by Lila Conway as a sole trader.

Based in Somerset, UK, working worldwide.

Email: info@yogaprema.org

2. Scope of these terms

By using the website, creating an account, booking or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms and any specific information shown on the relevant sales or booking page.

Yoga and Ayurveda retreat bookings are governed by separate Retreat Booking Terms and Conditions. If programme-specific terms conflict with these general terms, the programme-specific terms take priority for that booking.

3. Eligibility

You must be aged 18 or over to make a purchase unless Yoga Prema has expressly agreed otherwise. You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping account details secure.

4. Information on the website

Yoga Prema aims to keep descriptions, dates, prices and availability accurate. Minor errors may occasionally occur. Obvious pricing or description errors may be corrected before a booking is accepted, and you will be contacted if a correction materially affects your order.

Website content is general educational information and is not medical, psychological, nutritional or other professional healthcare advice.

5. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed when payment or an agreed deposit is received and confirmation is issued.

  • Prices and payment dates are those shown on the relevant booking page at the time of purchase.

  • Card payments are processed by Stripe. Yoga Prema does not store complete card details.

  • You are responsible for ensuring payments are made by the stated deadlines. Access or participation may be suspended or cancelled where payment remains overdue.

  • Any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

6. Practice Library membership

The Practice Library is a personal, non-transferable digital membership providing access to recorded yoga practices for the duration of an active subscription.

  • Membership is currently £30 per month unless a different price is clearly shown when you subscribe.

  • The subscription renews monthly until cancelled.

  • You may cancel at any time. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.

  • Partial months are not refunded, except where required by law.

  • Library content may be added, updated, reorganised or removed. The overall service will remain substantially consistent with its description.

Where you request immediate digital access during a statutory cancellation period, you will be asked to expressly agree that access begins straight away and to acknowledge the effect this may have on your right to cancel once digital content has been supplied.

Recorded practice safety

Practice Library sessions are pre-recorded and are undertaken without live supervision. You are responsible for choosing a practice that is suitable for your experience, health and circumstances, for using any equipment safely and for maintaining a clear and safe practice space.

  • Practise within your own abilities and do not force or continue any movement, posture or breathing practice that feels unsafe.

  • Stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, unusual breathlessness, distress or other concerning symptoms.

  • Consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before practising if you are pregnant, injured, unwell, recovering from surgery, or managing a medical or mental health condition, or if you are otherwise unsure whether a practice is suitable.

  • Follow any medical or professional advice you have received. A recorded class cannot provide individual assessment, correction, supervision or emergency assistance.

  • If a practice is unsuitable or instructions are unclear, stop and choose an appropriate alternative or seek individual guidance before continuing.

7. Courses, immersions, workshops and training

Each programme may have specific dates, format, payment schedule, access period, recording arrangements and participation expectations. These will be stated on the relevant page or confirmation.

  • Deposits or booking fees are non-refundable unless Yoga Prema cancels the programme or the law requires otherwise.

  • Balances must be paid by the stated deadline.

  • Participant cancellations and transfers are subject to the programme-specific terms. Any discretionary credit or transfer offered by Yoga Prema does not create an obligation to do so in another case.

  • Recordings, where included, are available only for the stated access period.

  • Live sessions may be recorded where this has been clearly communicated. Reasonable steps will be taken to respect participant privacy; you may be asked to keep your camera or microphone off if you do not wish to appear.

8. Living Yoga Mentorship

Mentorship sessions are 90-minute online sessions via Zoom unless otherwise agreed. Mentorship is educational and reflective support and is not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support.

  • An appointment may be moved without charge with at least 48 hours' notice.

  • With less than 48 hours' notice, or for a missed appointment, the session may be charged or treated as used, except in exceptional circumstances at Yoga Prema's discretion.

  • A three-session mentorship package must normally be used within six months of purchase.

  • If Yoga Prema needs to move a session, an alternative time will be offered.

9. Physical health and personal responsibility

Yoga involves physical movement, breath practices, meditation and other experiential practices. You are responsible for deciding whether a service is suitable for you and for practising within your own capacity.

  • Tell Yoga Prema about relevant injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, recent surgery or other concerns before participating.

  • Seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional where you are unsure whether participation is suitable.

  • Stop or modify a practice if you experience pain, dizziness, breathlessness or other concerning symptoms.

  • Do not treat general teaching or suggestions as a diagnosis or substitute for individual medical care.

10. Emotional and psychological wellbeing

Yoga, meditation, mantra, breath practices, self-inquiry and devotional practices can affect mood and may bring emotions, memories or difficult experiences into awareness. Individual responses vary and cannot always be predicted.

  • Yoga Prema services are educational and experiential. They are not psychotherapy, counselling, trauma treatment, psychiatric care or crisis support, and no promise is made to diagnose, treat or heal a mental health condition.

  • If you have a history of serious mental health concerns, trauma-related reactions or other psychological difficulties that could be affected by these practices, seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before participating and contact Yoga Prema to discuss general suitability.

  • Participation in any reflective, partnered or touch-based exercise is voluntary. You may pause, modify, decline or leave an exercise without having to disclose personal details. Physical touch is never required without clear consent.

  • Where an offering includes materially deeper self-inquiry, emotionally focused or partnered practices, reasonable information will be provided in advance so that you can make an informed choice.

  • If significant distress, dissociation, panic, troubling memories or other concerning symptoms arise, stop the practice, tell the teacher where appropriate and seek support from a qualified healthcare professional. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact the emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.

  • You remain responsible for honouring your own boundaries, following relevant professional advice and not continuing a practice that feels unsafe or destabilising.

11. Technology and access

You are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection, safe practice space and any equipment described for an online service. Yoga Prema is not responsible for interruptions caused by your device, internet provider or third-party platform, but will take reasonable steps to resolve problems within its control.

12. Intellectual property and permitted use

All website materials, recordings, teaching content, written resources, branding and programme materials are owned by or licensed to Yoga Prema and are protected by intellectual-property law.

  • Access is for your personal, non-commercial use only.

  • You must not copy, record, download unless enabled, reproduce, share, teach from, sell, publish or distribute materials without written permission.

  • Account details and private links must not be shared.

  • Unauthorised use may result in access being withdrawn without refund and may lead to further action.

13. Community spaces and conduct

Where a WhatsApp group, discussion space or other community feature is offered, participation is optional. Your profile information may be visible to other members according to the platform's settings.

Participants must communicate respectfully, maintain the confidentiality of personal sharing and avoid harassment, discrimination, promotion, unsolicited sales or disruptive conduct. Yoga Prema may remove a participant from a community or programme where reasonably necessary to protect the group. Serious or repeated breaches may result in loss of access without refund.

14. Changes or cancellation by Yoga Prema

Yoga Prema may make reasonable changes to teachers, timings, platforms, content or delivery where necessary, provided the essential nature of the service is not materially reduced.

If Yoga Prema cancels a paid service and cannot offer a suitable alternative, amounts paid for the cancelled service will be refunded. Yoga Prema is not responsible for unrelated expenses you incur unless the law requires otherwise.

15. Events outside reasonable control

Yoga Prema is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including serious illness, extreme weather, transport disruption, platform failure, government restrictions or other emergencies. Reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative, reschedule, credit or appropriate refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

16. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to the above, Yoga Prema is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, for business losses arising from a consumer purchase, or for loss caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you supplied, failure to follow physical or psychological safety guidance, continuing after concerning symptoms arise, acting contrary to relevant professional advice, or using materials outside their intended personal purpose.

17. Third-party services and links

The website and services may use or link to third-party platforms such as Squarespace, Stripe, Mailchimp, Zoom, YouTube and WhatsApp. Their own terms and privacy practices also apply. Yoga Prema is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services outside its reasonable control.

18. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the Yoga Prema Privacy & Cookie Policy.

19. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated for future purchases or renewals. The version applying to an existing booking is normally the version accepted when that booking was made, unless a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to you.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory protections and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
